Eight partners have joined LAC4 as a Participant Nation who can participate in the governance, give strategic guidance to Centre’s activities and workplan. Partners can leverage their cyber capacity building resources and knowledge through joint European effort and acknowledged brand.

Estonian Information System Authority (NCSC-EE)

In December 2023, Estonia has joined the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) as a participating nation through the Estonian Information System Authority.

Being the first Participating Nation, in March 2023 the Kingdom of the Netherlands joined the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) through its embassy in the Dominican Republic.

The Latin American Cooperation of Advanced Networks, RedCLARA, RedCLARA, Latin American advanced network that promotes science, research, education and innovation, joining the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) in the month of November 2023 as a Participating Nation.

As a Participating Nation, the Dirección de Gestión por Resultados (DIGER)  representing the Republic of Honduras joined the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) in December 2023.

Through the Secretaría de Innovación – Presidencia de la República de El Salvador, El Salvador joined the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4)  in October 2023 as a Collaborating Member.

Uruguay joined through AGESIC (Ejecutivo de la Agencia de Gobierno Electrónico y Sociedad de la Información y del Conocimiento) the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) in May 2024 as a Participant Nation.

Cyber 4.0: strategie e competenze per la cyber sicurezza

Cyber 4.0 is a highly specialized national competence centre for cybersecurity, established and co-funded by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy that joined Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) in June 2024 as a Contributing Member.
