Mexico

The Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency of Mexico (ATDT) joined LAC4 on behalf of the Government of Mexico in February 2026 as a Participating Nation.

Mexico’s collaboration in LAC4 has focused on strengthening cybersecurity awareness and skills development. This is reflected in the launch of the Cyber Hygiene Platform in Mexico. This initiative supports the development of a more resilient and informed digital ecosystem by promoting good cybersecurity practices among users and contributing to the broader objective of building a skilled cybersecurity workforce in the region.

The Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency (ATDT) is a Mexican government body responsible for consolidating public sector digital capabilities and developing public technology solutions aimed at delivering simple, secure, and efficient services. Its mandate also includes promoting affordable and high-quality connectivity to ensure that all individuals, regardless of their location, can fully exercise their rights in the digital environment.
