In all popular web-pages it is possible to increase and decrease font size by holding Ctrl-key (in OS X Cmd-key) and pressing “+” or “-“-key. Trinidad and Tobago

The Ministry of Homeland Security joined LAC4 on behalf of the Government of Trinidad and Tobago in June 2026.

Cooperation between LAC4 and Trinidad and Tobago is focused on strengthening cybersecurity governance, enhancing institutional capacities and promoting regional cooperation. As a recent member, LAC4 looks forward to work with Trinidad and Tobago as country’s strong leadership in advancing its digital transformation agenda and strengthening its cybersecurity ecosystem makes it a valuable addition to LAC4. Moreover, this partnership enables access to expertise and joint initiatives, brining together diverse experiences and fostering practical cooperation. Through participation in LAC4 activities, the country benefits from specialised trainings, policy dialogue, and exchanges of good practices with regional and European partners. This collaboration supports Trinidad and Tobago’s efforts to build resilient institutions, strengthen cybersecurity expertise and advance secure digital transformation across the public sector.

The Ministry of Homeland Security (MHS) in Trinidad and Tobago is the government body responsible for maintaining national safety and security, including law enforcement, disaster management, and border control. Guided by its mission “to advance national development by creating a safer and more secure society through enhanced collaboration among all stakeholders, intelligence-based decision-making and strengthened inter-agency structures and systems,” the Ministry oversees key protective services such as the Police, Fire, and Prison Services, and coordinates initiatives to safeguard citizens and national infrastructure. It also has responsibility for national cyber security and is home to the Trinidad and Tobago Cyber Security Incident Response Team (TT‑CSIRT), the country’s frontline cyber security unit that monitors, detects, and responds to digital threats to protect critical national systems and citizen data.
