Her CyberTracks: Women in CyberTech Camp@LAC4

The Her CyberTracks Programme is an annual subregional technical training week that will take place at the LAC4 Centre in Santo Domingo from 17 to 21 August 2026.

LAC4 Centre, Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic

The week-long, in-person training will bring together a Latin America and the Caribbean cohort of 17 aspiring female cybersecurity professionals from Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and the Dominican Republic to strengthen their technical capabilities in handling cybersecurity incidents.

Through hands-on workshops, practical simulations, site visits and mentorship sessions, participants will develop the skills and confidence necessary to take on leadership roles within their national and regional cybersecurity ecosystems. The agenda covers topics such as incident handling and response, open-source intelligence (OSINT), cyber threat intelligence, threat-hunting tools, digital forensics and malware analysis.

Organised within the framework of LAC4’s commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women in cybersecurity, Her CyberTracks is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and the European Union and co-implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) for the LAC region.
