Threats by Ransomware in Focus: A Table-top Exercise for Trinidad and Tobago

LAC4 organised a table-top exercise focusing on ransomware threats for the government of Trinidad and Tobago.

This training marks a significant step forward in fostering a resilient and well-coordinated cybersecurity ecosystem in Trinidad and Tobago. The training supports also broader regional efforts to address the growing threat of ransomware across the Caribbean.

The aim of this 4 hour online exercise was to practice national cooperation and coordination in response to an incident, and test national cyber emergency preparedness and response, identify gaps between documented emergency response process  and actual behavior with special emphasis on enhancing communication and collaboration among stakeholders and executive decision-making and test national crisis collaboration in cyber emergencies.
