Cooperation Between LAC4, EU CyberNet and Bolivia to Kick Off with Workshop for Developing National Cybersecurity Strategy

LAC4 and EU CyberNet cooperation with Bolivia kicked off today with a workshop to assist Bolivia to develop their first national cybersecurity strategy.

LAC4 and EU CyberNet cooperation with Bolivia kicked off today with a workshop to assist Bolivia to develop their first national cybersecurity strategy.

Workshop, led by EU CyberNet experts Kadri Kaska and Liis Rebane and organized in cooperation with Bolivia’s Electronic Government and Information and Communication Technologies Agency (AGETIC), provided Bolivia’s cybersecurity stakeholders practical and actionable guidance on creating and implementing a robust and comprehensive national cybersecurity strategy. As to ensure strategy’s relevance and sustainability, experts emphasised the importance of stakeholder engagement, efficient governance and timely execution by drawing practical examples and success factors from their international experience.

Workshop was attended by almost 180 participants from more than 40 organisations, institutions and key cybersecurity stakeholders from Bolivia.
