“We are delighted to welcome Belize to the LAC4 community! Belize’s commitment to strengthen national cybersecurity and regional cooperation makes it a valued addition to LAC4. We look forward to working closely with the Ministry of E-Governance and other national stakeholders to connect Belize with the expertise and experience of partners across Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union. We hope that Belize’s participation will provide opportunities to share experiences and identify practical areas of cooperation that can support a resilient digital environment across the region.” – Liina Areng, Director of LAC4
“Cyber threats know no borders — and neither should our response. Belize’s decision to join EU-LAC4 is great news. I look forward to working closely with our Belizean and regional partners to bring our expertise together and tackle cyber threats in a pragmatic way. This will make the digital world safer and more resilient for all of us.” – Erja Askola, Ambassador of the European Union to Belize
““Belize is delighted to join LAC4 as a member. As the Ministry of E-Governance, mandated to lead national cybersecurity, we know that every digital service we deliver is only as strong as the trust Belizeans place in it. Membership in LAC4 connects us to the shared expertise, training, and experience of our region, helping us strengthen our people, our institutions, and our ability to prevent, respond to, and recover from cyber threats. A more cyber-resilient Belize means citizens who can use digital government services with confidence. We look forward to learning from our partners across Latin America and the Caribbean, and to contributing to a safer digital region for all.” – Jose Urbina, Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of E-Governance of Belize.
