Call for Papers and Presentations: 

We invite submissions from individuals and teams interested in presenting their work, research, and insights at Cyber Week @LAC4 2024. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: 

  • Incident Response and Handling: Case studies, methodologies, and frameworks for effective incident response. 
  • Threat Intelligence: Techniques for gathering, analyzing, and sharing threat intelligence to mitigate cyber threats. 
  • Cybersecurity Technologies: Innovations in tools, technologies, and solutions for improving cybersecurity defenses. 
  • Digital Forensics: Advances in digital forensic techniques and their application in incident investigations. 
  • Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity: Leveraging artificial intelligence for incident response and defense purposes.
  • Emerging Threats: Analysis of emerging cyber threats and proactive measures to counter them. 
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Success stories and models for effective collaboration among CSIRTs and other stakeholders. 

Submission Guidelines: 

 Paper Submissions: Papers should be original, unpublished work and should not exceed 12 pages, including references and appendices.  

Presentation Submissions: Presentations should include a detailed abstract (up to 500 words) outlining the key points and significance of the topic. Please attach any supporting materials (slides, diagrams, etc.) if available. 

Important Dates: 

  • Submission Deadline: July 6, 2024 
  • Notification of Acceptance: August 6, 2024

About the Cyber Week @LAC4 2024

The Latin American and Caribbean Cyber Competence Center (LAC4) is delighted to announce Cyber Week @LAC4 2024, a premier event dedicated to fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation in cybersecurity across Latin America and the Caribbean. This event will be held on November 11-14 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, bringing together cybersecurity experts, practitioners, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore the latest advancements and strategies in the field of computer security incident response. 

Cyber Week @LAC4 2024 aims to create a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices among Cybersecurity Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) professionals. Our goal is to strengthen the cybersecurity landscape across the LAC region by fostering partnerships, enhancing skills, and promoting innovative research.
