Submission Guidelines:
Paper Submissions: Papers should be original, unpublished work and should not exceed 12 pages, including references and appendices.
Presentation Submissions: Presentations should include a detailed abstract (up to 500 words) outlining the key points and significance of the topic. Please attach any supporting materials (slides, diagrams, etc.) if available.

About the Cyber Week @LAC4 2024
The Latin American and Caribbean Cyber Competence Center (LAC4) is delighted to announce Cyber Week @LAC4 2024, a premier event dedicated to fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation in cybersecurity across Latin America and the Caribbean. This event will be held on November 11-14 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, bringing together cybersecurity experts, practitioners, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore the latest advancements and strategies in the field of computer security incident response.
Cyber Week @LAC4 2024 aims to create a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices among Cybersecurity Incident Response Teams (CSIRT) professionals. Our goal is to strengthen the cybersecurity landscape across the LAC region by fostering partnerships, enhancing skills, and promoting innovative research.
The Her CyberTracks programme, co-organised by LAC4, launched this week, bringing together more than 260 women from 42 countries – including 15 professionals from Latin America and the Caribbean – for an intensive five-month journey designed to equip women with skills and mindset for success in cybersecurity.
LAC4 Policy Expert César Moliné Rodríguez participated in the strategic panel discussion on emerging cyber threats and digital resilience in LAC region at the Digital Shield 2025 Conference in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic.
The 4th LAC4 members-only seminar, led by EU CyberNet Expert José Callero focused on introducing open-source intelligence (OSINT) aspects in cybersecurity.
LAC4 and EU CyberNet Project Director Liina Areng delivered a keynote speech and took part in a panel discussion and delivered a keynote speech at the conference Annual Executive Conference 2025 (Conferencia Anual de Ejecutivos, CADE) in Panama.
EUCN and LAC4, represented by Experts Lead Cecilia Popa, participated in the panel “Scaling Up Cyber Capacity – The Role of Regional Centers, Multilateral Cooperation, and Strategic Partnerships” at this year’s In Cyber Forum in Lille, France, under the theme “Beyond Zero Trust, Trust for All.”
