13 SME-s Chosen for Cybersecurity Training in May in Peru

13 small- and medium-sized enterprises from Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru have been chosen to participate in a cybersecurity training in Lima, Peru in May 2026, organised in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Andean Community and the Delegations of the European Union. Participants were chosen from 51 applications. 

“The strong interest from SME-s in the Andean region underlines the rowing urgency for practical and accessible cybersecurity support. As digital threats evolve, so must the resilience of businesses that drive local economies and interested in business relations with the European Union. LAC4 together with our partners remains committed to supporting SME-s in the region through targeted training and long-term collaboration that responds to their needs. Chosen SME-s demonstrate high motivation to bridge gaps in their cybersecurity vulnerabilities and take steps to strengthen their cybersecurity posture. Their application show dedication to adopt robust cybersecurity measures and we are glad to be part of supporting SME-s in turning awareness into action.” – Cesar Moline, LAC4 Regional Manager.

Training is organised in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Andean Community and the Delegations of the European Union to Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Training takes place from 11 to 13 May in Lima, Peru.

LAC4 to Participate in CAMP 11th Anniversary Celebration 2026

The Latin American and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) will participate in the CAMP 11th Anniversary Celebration 2026, taking place from July 6 to July 10. The event will bring together members and partners of the Cybersecurity Alliance for Mutual Progress (CAMP) to strengthen international cooperation, exchange experiences and promote collective approaches to a safer and more resilient cyberspace.
