Training Program in Advancing Open-Source Cyber Defense in Suriname

The Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) is pleased to announce its upcoming specialized training program, “Open-Source Security for Implementing Enterprise-Grade Defense for Government Networks,” taking place in Paramaribo, Suriname during the 3-5 June 2026.

Paramaribo, Suriname

Over the course of three days, participants will engage in instructor-led deep dives, technical labs, and architecture design workshops. The curriculum bridges the gap between technical execution and governance, ensuring that practical defense measures—such as perimeter security, network segmentation, endpoint hardening, and identity management—are fully aligned with international frameworks like the EU NIS2 Directive, NIST CSF, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards.

The training will be provided by two LAC4 Experts and the participants is open to designated ICT and security professionals within Suriname’s public administration.
