Training for SME-s: How does cybercrime affect women entrepreneurs?

In a strategic effort to bolster the digital transformation and resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region, the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4) has partnered with the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (CCB), and will assist in providing two experts that will carry out a comprehensive cybersecurity training webinars cycle.

According to the recent 2025 Perception and Victimization Survey (EPV) in Colombia, 19.5% of households reported being victims of cybercrime, with data kidnapping (31.6%) and malicious links (32.8%) being the most prevalent threats. Furthermore, women entrepreneurs face a disproportionate impact, with a victimization rate of 22.1% compared to 17.2% for men.

LAC4 is dedicated to providing the expertise necessary to counter these evolving threats. This webinar series is designed to equip businesses with practical tools for business continuity, risk prevention, and recovery.
