Train-the-Trainer Programme: Cybersecurity Infrastructure and CTF Bootcamp

LAC4 will deliver a practical week-long train-the-trainer programme designed to equip technical educators and trainers from the Dominican Republic with the knowledge, tools and teaching resources needed to organise cybersecurity infrastructure and Capture-the-Flag (CTF) bootcamps independently.

LAC4 Centre, Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic

The programme is intended for IT and system administration teachers, network administration teachers, vocational ICT trainers, and technical staff responsible for cyber clubs, camps or CTF activities. Bringing together 20–25 participants from the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA), it will combine hands-on learning with a replication-focused approach that helps participants transfer their new knowledge to students and local cybersecurity communities.

Through this initiative, LAC4 aims to strengthen the practical cybersecurity teaching capacity of technical and vocational education communities, while helping create sustainable pathways for new talent to develop the skills needed to secure the digital future.
