Seminar on Combating Cybercrime in Ibero-America

LAC4 Centre, Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic

The LAC4 Center will host the Seminar on Combating Cybercrime in Ibero-America, to be held on September 29 and 30, 2025, organized by the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) and EL PACCTO 2.0, in collaboration with the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Ibero-American Countries (COMJIB) and the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Centre (LAC4).

This event is framed, on the one hand, within the actions for the implementation of the Ibero-American Charter of Principles and Rights in Digital Environments (CIPDED), and on the other, within the 2025 Work Plan of EL PACCTO 2.0.

Its objective is to address the challenges of cybercrime in Ibero-America, highlight the region’s best practices, encourage the incorporation of a public-private collaboration perspective, and promote the exchange of experiences that will contribute to advancing a common positioning proposal for Ibero-America in the fight against cybercrime.
