Her CyberTracks: Women in CyberTech Camp@LAC4

This training is organised under the framework of the LAC4 commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women in cybersecurity, in collaboration with the ITU, GIZ and UNODC.

LAC4 Dominican Republic Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic

The Women in CyberTech Camp is an annual subregional technical training week by LAC4, designed for women working in incident response — or those eager to enhance their expertise in this critical field.

This year, LAC4 is proud to partner with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the GIZ Her CyberTracks program, sponsoring 15 women from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay to participate in the Incident Response track. Hosted at LAC4 in Santo Domingo, the week-long Her CyberTracks Incident Response on-site program brings together this talented cohort to strengthen their technical capabilities in managing cybersecurity incidents. Through intensive workshops, hands-on simulations, site visits and mentorship sessions, participants gain the skills, confidence and network needed to take on leading roles in their national cybersecurity ecosystems.

Organised under the framework of LAC4’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment in cybersecurity, the program is delivered in collaboration with ITU, GIZ, and UNODC.
