Capacity Building in Cybersecurity Seminar

LAC4 presents a two-day seminar on capacity building in cybersecurity for governmental decision-makers, civil society, private sector and academia of Guatemala with the Presidential Commission for Open and Electronic Government of Guatemala as part of EU CyberNet and LAC4 mission to Guatemala.

Seminar aims to support cyber capabilities in Guatemala such as strengthening cyber capabilities and raising awareness on cybersecurity trends. Seminar is conducted by LAC4 Programme Lead Merili Soosalu, and EU CyberNet Senior Cybersecurity Experts Kadri Kaska and Jorge Mora-Flores.

During the event, the accession ceremony of Guatemala to LAC4 takes place.

September 17th

The first day focuses on cybersecurity capacity building for governmental officials and servants of Guatemala.

The second day focuses on cybersecurity capacity building for civil society, private sector and academia.
