Agenda
The agenda combines strategic and technical approaches with hands-on workshops, interactive sessions, practical exercises, real-world case studies and a cyber-range exercise. Participants will deepen their skills in handling and responding to cyber incidents, share and learn from national CSIRTs’ and policymakers’ experiences from LAC region and Europe.
The agenda explores key areas of cybersecurity such as supply chain security, cyber attribution, incident and crisis management, AI and third-party risks. Participants will learn from practical case studies, intelligence-driven incident response, adversary hunting, using open-source tools, responsible state behaviour and cyber incident communication. Additionally, technical trainings will focus on detection, defence and response in operational technology environments.
CyberWeek@LAC4 2026 opens with a plenary session, bringing together experts and stakeholders to share perspectives on key cybersecurity challenges and priorities for the region.
A side-event, the LAC4 0ct0b3rf35t takes place on 20 November to offer a platform for more informal exchange of national experiences and best practices in dealing with cyber incidents in different countries. Topics span from risk management, cyber legislation, cyber threat intelligence, open-source tools, malware analysis and internal threat vectors.

CyberWeek@LAC4 2026 will feature more than 20 speakers, sharing experiences from 12 countries and representing private sector, public authorities, academia and think-tanks.
More than 120 participants from more than 30 countries and territories will be joining CyberWeek@LAC4 2026 and LAC4 0ct0b3rf35t, representing national cybersecurity authorities, policymakers, CSIRT/CERT teams and cyber incident responders, telecommunications regulators, law enforcement, private sector, academia and international partners.
Background
The 5th iteration of CyberWeek@LAC4 and 0ct0b3rf35 is organised by LAC4, a project funded by the European Union and implemented by the Estonian Information System Authority. Events take place in Centro INDOTEL and Spanish Cultural Centre in Santo Domingo.
