„I would like to congratulate Chile on its accession to the LAC4 Centre, a milestone that confirms its leadership and willingness to cooperate on cybersecurity in Latin America and the Caribbean. This accession is fully aligned with the EU–LAC Digital Alliance and reflects the strategic importance that the European Union places on close collaboration with Chile to strengthen capacities, share standards, and promote a secure, resilient, and values-based cyberspace throughout the region. This new platform will also enable the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANCI) to continue sharing its experience, further strengthening its institutional work and actively contributing to the development of regional cybersecurity capacities.“ – Claudia Gintersdorfer, Ambassador of the European Union to Chile.
