Train-the-Trainer: Cyber Awareness and Cyber Hygiene for Guatemala

Guatemala, like many other nations, is facing cybersecurity challenges brought by rapid cross-societal digitalisation. To address these challenges, LAC4 is organizing a workshop to train the trainers in cyber awareness and cyber hygiene in Guatemala.

The workshop, organized in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to Guatemala and the Presidential Commission for Open and Electronic Government of Guatemala, is focusing on developing a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices, with a particular emphasis on cyber hygiene. Participants will learn to identify major cybersecurity threats, enhance their ability to deliver effective training, and apply basic principles of cyber hygiene in diverse contexts.

The program also aims to foster critical self-evaluation of personal online habits and attitudes toward cybersecurity, enabling participants to strengthen their resilience against malicious content. In addition, trainees will gain access to curated materials that will support them in replicating the training and spreading awareness among their respective audiences.

Workshop sessions are designed for individuals responsible for managing information security, building cybersecurity programs, or conducting awareness training within their organizations from public sector, local governments, SMEs, academia and civil society.

Workshop is invite only.
